An Army officer was killed and three soldiers were injured in a fire at the Siachen glacier early Wednesday, according to officials.
The incident occurred around 3 am on Wednesday at the Siachen glacier, where four Army personnel were injured.
Regimental Medical Officer Captain Anshuman Singh died from serious burn injuries, while three others suffered smoke inhalation and second-degree burns, officials said.
The injured personnel have been safely air evacuated for further treatment and are in stable condition.
