Center Join Indian Air Force’s Agniveer Recruitment Drive Now!

The Indian Air Force will begin registration for the Agniveer recruitment drive in the first week of November for both male and female candidates. The online examination is scheduled for January 2023, as announced by the IAF.

A tweet from the official Twitter handle of the Indian Air Force stated, “Registration for STAR 01/2023 for Agniveervayu Intake 01/2023 will open in the first week of Nov 2022 for male and female candidates. The online examination will be conducted in mid Jan 2023.”

Under the new policy, the Centre plans to recruit 46,000 Agniveers for the three services this year, with an annual target of 50,000 to 60,000 thereafter. Only 25% of recruits will be selected for a 15-year period, receiving pension and lifelong healthcare benefits.

According to Air Force guidelines, civilian candidates born between 29 December 1999 and 29 June 2005, who are either Indian or Nepalese citizens, are eligible to register. All eligibility criteria are available on the IAF’s official Agniveer Vayu website.
