BJP Accuses AAP of Using Freebies for Political Ambitions

1 min read

The BJP has accused the Aam Aadmi Party of using freebies to further the political ambitions of Arvind Kejriwal. Speaking at a press conference in New Delhi, spokesperson Sambit Patra highlighted the difference between the welfare measures of the Centre and what he referred to as the “politics of freebies”, stating that the government’s policies are aimed at helping people become self-sufficient. Patra emphasized that freebies are not intended for the poor, but rather are a tactic to gain power. He argued that freebies have no long-term benefits, serving only to achieve short-term power for Kejriwal and the AAP.

In addition, Patra commented on the RJD-JD(U), stating that “jungle raj has returned to Bihar” and citing alleged cases of rapes, murders, and lootings to support his claim. In response, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav asserted that “jungle raj” is actually present in the Centre, where ministers are afraid to speak out, and that there is a complete dictatorship. He suggested a debate based on NCRB data.
