Arunachal Pradesh Governor B.D. Mishra has been given the additional responsibility of Meghalaya as the current Governor Satya Pal Malik’s term ends on October 3, according to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The President of India has appointed Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.), Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, to also fulfill the duties of the Governor of Meghalaya, in addition to his current role, until a new arrangement is made. This announcement was made by Ajay Kumar Singh, the Press Secretary to the President. Malik completes his term on Monday, the press release added.
