Central Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Attacks Jyotiraditya Scindia, Criticizes BJP in Madhya Pradesh Rally

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the general secretary of the All-India Congress Committee, criticized her former party colleague Jyotiraditya Scindia on Wednesday, accusing him of betraying the people by overthrowing an elected government. She made these remarks during a campaign rally in support of a Congress candidate in the Datia Assembly seat of Madhya Pradesh, where elections are scheduled for November 17.

Referring to Scindia’s defection to the , Priyanka mentioned that she had worked with him in Uttar Pradesh and observed his arrogant behavior, which was not well-received by the people. She highlighted that Scindia’s actions of toppling the government that the people had voted for were a betrayal.

Furthermore, Priyanka criticized Prime Minister Modi for bringing traitors and cowards into his party. In response, Scindia defended his family’s legacy and questioned the sacrifices made by various generations for the country’s defense.

Priyanka also highlighted the employment situation in Congress-ruled states compared to Madhya Pradesh, where it is poor. She took a dig at Home Minister Narottam Mishra, the BJP candidate from Datia, for his focus on trivial matters like watching movies all day. She also criticized Chief Minister for his theatrics and compared him to a famous Bollywood actor.

Additionally, Priyanka mocked Prime Minister Modi for being preoccupied with his own suffering, comparing him to a character from a Bollywood movie. She also targeted businessman Gautam Adani, questioning the extent of his influence in the country.

The Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections for the 230-member assembly are scheduled for November 17.
